Much like Tygra, the show just didn’t know how to make his inventions (or his inventing) interesting.
THUNDERCATS SERIES
LJN Toys launched the Thundercats toy line in the Spring of 1985, followed by the animated series in September of that year. 'ThunderCats' is no different, as evidenced by director Adam Wingards upcoming movie, which is reportedly set to be a hybrid of CGI and animation. Vultureman was the smartest of the evil mutants, but all he did was make vehicles and weapons that the other idiots would inevitably break while failing to capture the ThunderCats. Thundercats 1985 The Thundercats line only lasted for three years, but remains one of the most popular toy brands of that era. From the fire a hero is born: Lion-O, Lord of the ThunderCats. A group of humanoid cats must flee their planet of Thundera after its destroyed. They were basically looked like - and were - generic Masters of the Universe cast-offs: Hammerhand had a hammer… for a hand, Ram-Bam had a wheel in his torso (for ramming), et cetera. The fact that he was a rat-man fighting cat-men didn’t help either. Wikipedia calls this bad guy “a metallic demon of the sand who has a drill in place of legs” which sounds awesome in theory but, like a great deal of ThunderCats, lost much in execution. ThunderCats started as an animated series in 1985 before booming into a franchise of comics, action figures, video games, and television reboots.
